SKY Aviation Starts Flying Tanjungpinang Malacca Twice a Week

Sky Aviation Fokker 50 was parking at Raja Haji Fisabililah Tanjungpinang AirportIndonesian SKY Aviation will fly Tanjungpinang (Indonesia) Malacca (Malaysia) twice a week on Sunday and Wednesday starting 1st April 2011.  This new route is the second international route for SKY after it’s firts one Pekanbaru Malacca.

The inaugural flight from Tanjungpinang Raja Ali Haji Airport to Malacca Airport and return takes place today, 30 March 2012. According to SKY Tanjungpinang District Manager Edi, the ticket fare for one way flight from Tanjungpinang to Malacca will be withing the range of Rp. 500.000 to Rp. 600.000 per pax. Mandala Air Resumes Flight on 5th April 2012

After being grounded for more than a year, PT Mandala Air, Tuesday (27/3/2012), announce to resume flight on 5th April 2012.

The first flight will bring the passenger from Jakarta to Medan. Subsequently, be followed by its international route on 4 May 2012 from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Lion Air Signs New Aircraft Purchase Deal With Boeing

US President Obama left witnessed the signing of initial aircraft purchase deal between Lion Air Director Rusdi Kirana (left seated) and Ray Conner (right seated), senior vice president of Boeing last November 2011 in Bali Indonesia.

Singapore. Indonesian carrier Lion Air and Boeing on Tuesday inked a deal that not only set a new record for the Singapore Airshow, but will go down as one of the largest contracts in commercial aviation history.

The Indonesian carrier yesterday signed for 230 single-aisle aircraft worth $22.4 billion (S$28.4 billion) at catalogue prices. The deal, inked on the first day of the Singapore Airshow 2012, was itself more than double the US$10 billion in deals sealed in the 2010 edition of the biennial trade show.
