Riau Islands tourism delegates consists of the provincial tourism official and  representatives from tourism operators and travel agency took part in JATA Tourism Expo 2015 in Tokyo on 24-27 September. Riau Island Province Tourism Office Head Guntur Sakti led the delegation of 12 person. Four members of Riau Island Provincial led by Iskandarsyah also accompanied the delegation. Tanjungpinang City participates in Garuda International Islamic Expo 2012 held at Jakarta Convention Center 14-16 December 2012. The city participation was represented by Tanjungpinang Culture and Tourism Office which bring along SANGGAM Group. SANGGAM is one the city most active traditional art performance group which led by city artist couple Husnizar Hood and his wife Peppy Chandra.
