Like many Muslim countries, Indonesia holds Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) or Al Quran Reading competion as a national event. It has been one of the biggest competion held in the nation started from the lowest level of the country administration (Kelurahan) all the way to national level.
This competition was started for the first time in Makassar in 1968. It was national annual event then until 1977. From 1979 this event was held biennially.
Batam Bintan Karimun Free Trade Zone Council in cooperation with Indonesian Embassy in Seoul conduct an Investment Forum in Seoul South Korea on 22nd November 2014. The forum was held at Lotte Hotel Seoul and was attended by Indonesian Vice Ambassador Mr. Iwanshah Wibisono and members of The Federation of Korean Industries, who gave his speech before officially opened the forum. After conducting a thorough evaluation of the organization of Lake Toba Fiesta (Pesta Danau Toba) in the past, the Organizing Committee has decided the schedule of this year event to 8-14 September 2013. Busan (Officially Busan Metropolitan City), formerly spelled Pusan (Korean pronunciation: [pusan]) is South Korea‘s second largest metropolis after Seoul, with a population of around 3.6 million. The Metropolitan area (includes adjacent cities of Gimhae and Yangsan) population is 4,399,515 as of 2010. It is the largest portcity in South Korea and the world’s fifth busiest seaports by cargo tonnage. The city is located on the southeasternmost tip of the Korean peninsula. The most densely built up areas of the city are situated in a number of narrow valleys between the Nakdong River and Suyeong River, with mountains separating some of the districts. Administratively, it is designated as a Metropolitan City. The Busan metropolitan area is divided into 15 major administrative districts and a single county.
