Tanjungpinang City participates in Garuda International Islamic Expo 2012 held at Jakarta Convention Center 14-16 December 2012. The city participation was represented by Tanjungpinang Culture and Tourism Office which bring along SANGGAM Group. SANGGAM is one the city most active traditional art performance group which led by city artist couple Husnizar Hood and his wife Peppy Chandra. During the expo Sanggam performance were able to attract the expo visitor attention.
Anugerah Travel was appointed as professional event organizer of the city participation in the in expo which include the booth set up and provide logistic support for the city delegations such as air ticket, land transfer, accommodation and meals.
