Indonesia Overland Tour: 17-23 April 2012

This tour package is designed to give foreign tourists a memorable experience in discovering the wonderful Indonesia with a total 6 nights stay in Jakarta, Bandung, Jogjakarta and Bali.

Jakarta

Day 1: Arrive in Jakarta, the capital city of the country. Stay overnight in Jakarta.

Day 2: City tour in Jakarta and then proceed to Bandung.

Bandung locally labelled as “kota kembang” (city of flowers), is the provincial capital of West Java and Indonesia’ s third largest city. Known in colonial times as the Paris of Java because of its European ambiance and sophistication, Bandung shares with Miami a fine legacy of Tropical Deco architecture dating from the 1920’s. Bandung is an indulging shopping heaven sorrounded by highlands and plantations with cheap quality fashion, shoes and distinctive artworks and friendliness of beautiful local people. Day 3: After half day tour in Bandung and the viscinity, the group will proceed to fly for Yogyakarta.

Yogyakarta is renowned as a centre of classical Javanese fine art and culture such as batik, ballet, drama, music, poetry, and puppet shows. Yogyakarta was the Indonesian capital during the Indonesian National Revolution from 1945 to 1949.

The great Sultan’s Palace, Parangtritis Beach, Borobudur and Prambanan Temples, are among tour objects you will remember for the rest of your life.

The cultural colour of Yogyakarta is still obvious because of the temples, traditional buildings, various cultural activities, and a number of famous artists. This is accentuated by the presence of living tradition and everyday life of Yogyakarta community which is art loving and hospitable.

Day 4: Full day tour in the town and it’s viscinity including visit to the famous Borobudur temple  and Prambanan temple. We will also bring you to visit Batik artshop and give you an exposure to Batik painting.

day 3 and 4 stay overnight in Yogyakarta.

Day 5: After breakfast, the group will fly to pulau dewata (the island of goddess) Bali.

The island is home to most of Indonesia’s small Hindu minority. In the 2000 census about 92.29% of Bali’s population adhered to Balinese Hinduism while most of the remainder follow Islam. It is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking, and music. Bali, a tourist haven for decades, has seen a further surge in tourist numbers in recent years.

Tourist will be brought to the famous Kuta Beach and enjoy the beauty of sunset at the famous Tanah Lot temple.

Day 6: The group will be brought to discover the popular tour objects in Bali such as Uluwatu Temple, Besakih Temple, art village Ubud and enjoy a special dinner at Jimbaran beach.

Day 7: end of tour.
