10th Tanjungpinang International Dragon Boat Race will be held on 17-20 November 2011. The participants of this year race will compete for a cash prize totalling to Rp. 156.800.000 (US$ 18.500) and trophies from the Kepulauan Riau Governor and trophy from Tanjungpinang Mayor.

Alongside with this event the organizing committee will also hold  canoe race and jong race (jong = miniaturized boat).

To encourage participant from abroad, the organizing committee of this event will bear the accomodation as well as local  transport cost of the team member during the competion. Continue reading →
